@Shipping: since 5 day delivery is the plan, which is actually going back to how it was for a long time I've been told; I would expect those who deal with mail delivery to have similar work days.

@Mac: I know the feeling. The 'wait time' is because they're at a sorting facility, getting bagged and processed for your area. The one for me ... down on the OR/CA border is in Kent WA. After it sites there a day or two, then it takes two days to get here. I know how you feel!

I'm making my way back around to work on my special project's maps ... after spending several days fighting with my perfectionist brain on it being okay that it isn't in 3d perfection glory! At least not this set. These will be more like treasure map style ... then will come the better detailed ones. Woohoo!!

I've also installed the Hearthfire DLC for my lappy's Skyrim game. I'll have that for when my brain needs something more 3d to work on. :o)

Honey Maple Bacon with syrup is always a good choice.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

So it did get here today. Using it right now. Pretty cool. Nice screen. As far as I can tell the mouse pad has no scroll function. I have to use the arrow keys or the mouse to scroll. Nothing to complain about though, because I finally have a new laptop. That is actually mine.

I don't care how unhealthy it supposedly is--that's what moderation is for--but bacon has to be the tastiest meat ever invented. Especially when generously applied to the dish my family refers to as "Camp Breakfast".

Step 1: Make some regular sized pancakes.
Step 2: Layer bacon on top.
Step 3: Cook Mac & Cheese.
Step 4: Fold pancake with bacon layer into taco shape, and fill with Mac & Cheese.

It's delicious. No syrup. Everyone I tell this to things I add syrup. I don't. Pancakes taste closer to sour dough when they don't have syrup. Syrup is so closely associated with them that people can't seem to separate the two tastes.

Well. Now I have to leave my beautiful new gift behind to go use the crappy net books at school. Oh well. This thing needs to charge anyway. Only has a 3 1/2 hour battery life unfortunately.

That's just beautiful right there. Definitely deserving of some sort of writing award.
My laptop is the same way. Took a little getting used to but like you said, it isn't that big of a deal.
Also, that "breakfast taco" sounds quite good. Though I'd think it would be a bit dry without syrup.

I just made chicken bacon ranch quesadillas.
And they were probably the best thing I've eaten in a while. Well, since the aforementioned honey maple bacon with syrup.

You do not have to worry about that with me, I love pancakes by themselves.

On a side note, has anyone tried pancakes and eggs? Like actual eggs on pancakes?
