Absolutely!! Minfig art is one of my favs :o)
I've been thinking about doing one after I finish the rose.

my final Rose piece, I think ...



Mostly subtle differences now; I added some highlite layers and tried to improve that depth and definition of the petals and the outer leaves.

quick test: Spartan Sniper



More like a graphic art piece, but it helped give me 'the feel' for doing a minfig. The next piece will be a greyscale ... just need to get a minfig pose that strikes me.

Here's an 'updated Spartan'.
I've added several layers of greyscale to help deepen the minfig, and added a white background to give it true color.



Can you see the difference?
