Would someone like to explain why I can buy a .50 caliber rifle round, but I can't buy a 9mm pistol round? Haha... Logic.

Because a rifle is harder to conceal than a handgun, which you also can't buy. 'Cause you know, you can't just cut down a shotgun/lever action. Unless of course you're in California, then .50 cal is illegal, you still buy a .460 though.

I know lol. Just seems redundant to me that I can buy a .50 caliber armor piercing round that can put a hole in an engine block, but can't buy something that can't get through body armor. Just saying.

Yeah, you'd think they would have some kind of limit based on how much damage a particular round can do. Like you being able to buy .380 or 9mm because they're relatively weak.

The .22 long-rifle has often been called the ammunition of choice for an assassin. That's not exactly the largest round out there...

So, we have snow here and the temp is supposed to drop down to about 9 tonight ... which means my internet is extra special right now. Woot ...
at least I can get online, and I can still play some games - unless the power goes out. Soo glad we have a wood-burning stove, not an electricity powered one.

:o)

Well, that was not the way I was expecting my day to go. Some guy was mistreating a girl, so I stood up to him, and it got physical. And I got a good deal of thanks, a small dent in my skull, and an in-school suspension to show for it. Totally worth it.

Well, sounds like it's gonna be cold and dark, best wishes to you. And this is why I like battery powered handhelds, and my friends all mock me for playing on a 2 generation old GBA. Who's laughing when the power goes out. :P

I still have and play an SP. I'd have to say that Nintendo is probably my favorite video game company.

Good on ya!

So...The girlfriend, parents, and I went to Downtown Disney today, and I got to go to the LEGO Store there. It. Was. Amazing! The Pick-A-Brick wall was twice the size of the one in Cincinnati and had all sorts of great stuff in it. Decided to grab two cups full of all sorts of great things, some of which will be used in my BF Galaxies builds. Also, they let you pick out a 2x4 brick and then they will engrave it with whatever (within reason) you want on it. I decided to pick up three black ones with an inside joke for myself and two friends. Today was a good day.

@SMarine: good for you, even with the negative. At least it was for a good reason :o)

@Machetero: Nice!
