Here is a link to some of the pictures.

I thought I'd have no interest in this theme, but some of the minifigures look very interesting. There seems to be 4 different factions. Lion, Wolf, Eagle, and Crocodile. I'd like to get a closer look of those figures, but the Crocodiles look particularly useful for sci-fi and fantasy MOCs. I kinda like the eagle ones too, and the wolves don't look bad.

Someone on another site posted a link to an ebay sale of one of the Bird figs. The big head on the fig was actually a helmet with a rather awesome printed regular minifig head underneath. I'm not really interested in the sets, but the parts in the sets and the figs are quite awesome.

I just saw that after I posted. Looks like maybe the crocodiles might be that way too. I prob won't buy any sets, but some of the figs are intriguing.

I don't think I will buy any sets. But then again, I said that about Ninjago and Alien Conquest and I have a number of Ninjago sets and I am debating on getting the Alien Conquest Earth Defense HQ while I can still find it in stores so...

The special pieces are what attract me too ... and the modding use abilities. Some of these do look like they could be used for a variety of ideas.

Gotta give it a Meh. The sets aren't as absolutely horrendous as I thought they were going to be, but they'd have to be pretty bloody awful to be that bad. The only set that looks decent is the "goblin tan" ship set, and that will probably be more than I'm willing to spend on a set from this theme, and there are more interesting figs in other lines, so I probably won't get any of this theme.

I picked a couple up, I love them. The figs are awesome, and some great new parts.

IIRC all the animal folks have "real heads" under their animal heads, with interesting prints on them... This may be old news by now, though. Considering the fish-man from the Monsters series also had a similar head-mask, it looks like this might be becoming a trend?
