At the morning brief the Old Man informed Dreks Squad he needed us to check out a lead in a less than reputable area of Sard Ixthula , one of the largest cities on Ixthula. Not quite sure why he wanted Lok back in that area after the last fiasco but it’s best not to question the Old Man.

No sooner were we walking past the hoverbike docks than Lok started getting an interesting look in his eye. “Hey, you think we can stop off in Cid’s?”

“No! I’m not calling the rest of Dreks off their Hunts to drag you out of there. Again.”

I’m not sure how he pulled it off but a few minutes later we found ourselves just outside of Cid’s watching two Sendaal unload the baarkah’keypaas of a Ba’toi. Considering the number of barrels I assumed it was the weekly keras* delivery for Cid, though I had no idea why a Ba’toi would be delivering it. We were about to walk past Cid’s door when there came a crash and then quite a bit of yelling. I turned around just in time to see a weird canister with a neon green liquid inside roll out from one of the barrels and break open.

“Guess I’m calling the rest of Dreks to Cid’s after all...”

Nice. You really give the feeling of Sard Ixthula being just a nasty place where all forms of scum converge. I think I discover some other "questionable" activity going on in the background.

I agree with QBlade, you've got a great 'feel' and layout going with your characters and story.

@Qb: HAHAHA! Yeah, Sard Ixthula is kind of the Mos Eisley of the planet, which makes Cid's the Mos Eisley Cantina. You never know who or what you may see on the streets, or in some of the establishments.

@mC: I'm trying to keep some sort of story/flow between challenges or even between different parts in the challenges. I had a real hard time with this challenge doing that because I had absolutely no idea what they should find. Then I looked through my "tray" of trans bits and found the neon-green 1x1's and it just sort of clicked.

Yeah, and it came out great :o)
