Only two more pages left.
And what's sad is it will probably take a whole 2 days to finish this, at this rate :9

I dunno about anyone else, but this time of year seems to always get a bit busier/hectic for me. Granted I still check in on here fairly often but I have little time to talk, or even do much LEGO related that would cause me to post other than in here.

Same here ... I tend to check often, but have little to say ...

So ... check out my Camo Vig in the Center Stage; it's pretty cool!

And, here's a couple of quick pics of my Sugar Gliders. They look soooo much better now, not perfect yet but much healthier:

That last pic confused me for a quick minute. Thought it was one Sugar Glider and not one in and one on the box.

Also, checked out the pics earlier when you had the size issue. Will go check them all out now and drool over the AltBricks pieces and the rest of the awesomeness.

Sugar gliders? Sugar gliders?! Never heard of them. They look cute, but seriously, who runs the naming of animals these days?! :9

Quick! I need to hide those sugar glider pics from my wife, otherwise she'll want some. :9

Anyways, My wife and I finally got around to building the Earth Defense HQ Friday night, and it took us both about 2 hours. I'd have to say it is one of the best-designed LEGO sets "out of the box" that I've ever bought, but I'm still going to have to make a few modifications, though. One thing that will most definitely NOT be modified (and is the first time in at least 10 years I actually put stickers on any of my LEGO sets) is the Nate "Nnenn" Nielson memorial Vic Viper that was included with the set.

The fact that a massive global corporation actually was willing to memorialize one of their fallen fans in such a way is very touching to me, and is one of the reasons that LEGO is one of the few such massive global corporations that I actually support.

Finally, my wife and I went to the PA Renaissance Faire yesterday fully decked out in our Hogwarts outfits that we got at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. Even though we were the only ones there wearing Harry Potter themed outfits, there were quite a few fans (including one Slytherin lady who had the scarf working at ye olde blacksmith shoppe)...

I'll try to post pics either later today or tomorrow. Interestingly enough, I decided to get Hufflepuff robes and such when I was at Universal, and my wife recently discovered Pottermore, the official Harry Potter fan site, and when we both signed up and got sorted (took a quiz) I ended up in Hufflepuff, and my wife, despite wanting to be Griffindor, ended up in Ravenclaw...

Of course, the downside is that now my wife tends to hog up the computer desk (I have two computers, but due to lack of space, have them both hooked up to one keyboard, mouse and monitor) for hours brewing potions and dueling other wizards when I want to play Civ III or get on BrickForge or Eurobricks. :/ I really can't wait until we finally get our own house.

@Machetero: hehe, yes there are two of them; and yes, they are very cute!
Hoping that after we're over our colds here at home, that we can start working on taking them out soon.

@AlbaVik: These lil guys species are originally from New Zealand or Australia, if I remember right.
They have their name because when they're healthy they actually have a sweet - sugary smell to them and they love sweet foods more than kids love candy!

@Hikaro: that's cool about the set
The LoTR sets are the only ones I've used they stickers on in years too ... keepers
too funny about the computer situation, though I guess Its cause I can relate if we didn't have two working. I'm here, gaming, art stuff ... my husband's on eBay, looking up movies, guns, etcs. :o)

Glad you sympathize, MC

BTW, I was out LEGO Shopping at Target Friday night as well and got Jay's Storm Fighter on sale (I'd been meaning to buy it for modification purposes), and I happened to see this:

http://youtu.be/Z3iYQ1HxyTw

Kre-O Battleship Missouri set. I'm definitely getting it either later today or next week.... Kre-O uses Oxford Blocks, which are on par with LEGO quality, and the hull, from what I can see, would fit into what I'd use as a "Destroyer" sized ship, since I use the standard LEGO City ship hulls as Corvette/Frigate class ships and the Oxford "King Sejong the Great DDG" set as a Heavy Cruiser class ship....
