The other day I was at Wal Mart and picked up Nathuz for $7 and a 16GB flash drive for $7.50, which made my total be almost $40 (with the things I actually needed to purchase) but I was happy. Was looking forward to getting another series 8 fig but they didn't have any left at that point, there were series 5 figs but I didn't get one since I already had a Heroica set.

Going to have to take a look at these Chima figs...

I totally know what you mean, MC, I love just having time to lay around doing nothing.

I will. But I still don't have a camera. :9 That should be rectified within the week.

I completed the layout. I'm dubbing it the Creature's Keep. The Cottage with water wheel is on the shoreline of a river, along with a pigpen. A rowboat with a peasant is drifting out with a fisherman on it with a bunch of caught trout. Another rowboat is one with an elven priestess on it with several treasure chests and other equipment to trade at the dock. The small dock has an Elven warrior on it, and the structure is the base of the tower. The tower is massive. I used all kinds of architectural techniques to make it interesting. The top of it has a surveyor instrument thingie, a huge mounted spyglass, an armory, and then the side of it juts out and forms a small prison, which houses the Monster Fighters Swamp Creature on a chain. The jail is boarded up and run down, like they're afraid to even go near the creature's cell, but the rest of the tower is really fancy, with gold parts everywhere and a custom Pirates Trade Flag draped on the wall.

:D

Ooh, I also still have my best-ever space vehicle (Neo Brick Daddy's Lunar Limo) to take pics of, too. I built it back in July. :9

So, yeah, drill kinda sucked.
Ran 2 miles for PT tests. Ate lunch. Got flu shots. Got smoked because some blue falcon decided to forget his rubber ducky in the chow hall. Dinner chow. Ran another 2 miles "Just because".
Today, ran another 4 miles. We had a suicide prevention class, but instead of just doing it in a classroom, we ran from station to station, over a course of about 4 miles.

However, after drill was pretty good. Surprised my girlfriend by showing up in my ACU's and with flowers to take her to a movie night at my friends house, and she had made me this awesome cheesecake... Mmmm...Cheesecake... So that part of my day was definitely good, I'd say.

Agreed Bio; Mmmm cheesecake...

So, earlier today ("today" being a relative term as it is now Monday morning but I am still awake and at work so my brain says it is Sunday) some of the members of the Ohio Kentucky Indiana LUG (myself included though I am uncertain if I am a full member) got together for what they call a "build day". It was pretty fun to sit around with people "building and BSing" for a few hours. If I had any idea what I was going to do for the current BF Galaxies challenge I would have brought it with me to work on. But, since I don't have a stinking clue yet I helped one of the other guys there and built trees for his rather large MOC. I suppose I should figure out what I'm doing as it is already halfway through the month...

Now I'm hungry, thanks Bio. This weekend was very draining for me. My daughter and I drove all the way to BInghamton NY from here in Enfield CT for the weekend. Ended up finding out we weren't needed. Stayed in a relatives parking spot and getting woke up at 3am by one of the drunk neighbors pounding on the Earthroamer door. He wanted "his" parking space back.
Bought 20 series 7 minifigs and didn't get a single swimmer, which was what I was looking for. I now have more computer techs and bunny guys than I can reasonably use. Got a bagpiper that I'm going to vignette and give as a gift though.

Wow. Just wow. This is insane. I thought President Ron's funeral was elaborate.
