Dear lord that would be insane.

No idea what you just said. :9

A Supercharged 3800 V6 ("38 Special") makes about 240hp, and usually is placed into a car that weighs about 3700 lbs, and gives that car (A 1999 Pontiac GTP) a 6.5 second 0-60mph time.
My Beretta weighs about 2900lbs. The 3100 V6 (Naturally aspirated, no turbos or supercharger) made 165hp, and propelled my car with a ~7.5 second 0-60mph. A full second slower then the GTP, and about 2 seconds slower than a 2000 Mustang GT.
Now, imagine if you will, the S/C 3800 engine placed into my car. An engine that makes about 80 more horsepower into a car that weighs almost a thousand pounds less. That would give me about a 5.5 to 6 second 0-60 time. An 80 shot tank of nos gives me 80 horsepower as long as I hold down the button (Not going into how nitrous oxide works right now. Another post, maybe). That puts the horsepower of the 38 Special up to 420, propelling me to 60mph in about 5 seconds.
Which is half a second faster then a 2000 V8 Mustang GT.
And we haven't even gotten into smaller modifications, such as a cold air intake, full exhaust, ECM tunes, throttle bodies, cams, etc. Combine all of these and we're talking about another 25-50 horsepower, dropping my 0-60 time little by little.
And the glory of this idea is that no one would expect a Beretta to be that fast. And just in case you missed it, my target opponent is the Mustang GT. I want something that can keep up with, if not beat, the most common "fast" car around here. Let's face it, most people hear "Mustang" and they think "Oh those are so fast!"

LOL!!!

@Bio: those look great!

BF Camo: yes, the stuff looks amazing!

: helping my son, the one in Alaska, hunt down a source that will still allow him to preorder the Halo4 LCE; goof head ... why? why did he wait so long???
But, he's fortunate, Walmart still have it open for preorder online (which he has one near him).

I got another BL order today and got some pieces I never owned like garage doors and new dice. Besides placing a BF order soon (I hope), I am close to making an Arealight order for more curved torsos. I was debating when to do it when I saw a creation from one of our alum, Shmails using yet another custom vendors pieces and I had to make an order :9 Check out this stuff

That's right, different colored leaves 8o Any of you that know me a little know one of my biggest gripes was LEGO never offering this. Perhaps they will someday, but I've already waited over 20 yrs, and I was told by da man <v> that the guy making them is an AFOL ;)

Saw those leaves a few months ago when he tried to offer them on BL and there was a rather large dust-up. I've been tempted to order some as well, especially after seeing that photo on flickr earlier.

Interesting. Tell me more, or PM me if it's something you'd rather not share publicly. I already ordered and seeing that Shmails has them, I figured there was little risk.

I kind of get you now, CB, thanks. I'm not a mechanic. :9

You guys know my American King story? Well, look at the DLC for Assassin's Creed III.

Yes, it's real. And yes, they developed it based on my writings. ;9

Yeah, Washington could have become King of the US if he wanted. Good thing he didn't. I think. :9
