okay we've all played the hell out of mega man games in the past that we probably broke some of our controllers.Also what guy hasn't at least heard of dbz or seen an alien movie that a cannon arm wasn't used or terminator Salv. for that matter my suggestion is why not make a buster gun arm weapon it would be a barrel
larger than a mini fig hand with a handle on the inside for the mini fig to grasp with maybe a small hole in the front of the barrel to stick small elements like beam sabers lazers fire water etc. plus Im sure lots of us would love to make our own personal Mega Figure

This looks great! Good job. To be honest though, I don't think I've ever played any of the Mega Man games before. Usually I only play the more popular classics (Zelda, Mario, Game and Watch).

It would work in zelda for some of the mechanical based monsters or fire breathing ones by sticking the buster in the mouth for better stability for element attacks or on the ends of tails or as intended originally on hands.

Im sure everyone else can think of uses for it. Some examples being a plasma caster for a predator or a borderlands2 loader enemy just to name a couple of possible thousands of options .

I'm liking the concept, but the execution might be an issue, it's have to be an arm element I suppose.

you've never played mega man?? o.0 wow,.... your missing out on a classic gameing series buddy. How did you think the idea of side scrolling shooters came to be? Well I highly recommend u play it Im not sure but I think it's possible to find it as a rom file for both the nintendo & genesis emulators I think ain't sure..look up "wily wars" for genesis u might get lucky.
but as for the buster's design, it would be a hollow barrel with a short muzzle at the end kind like how the alien ray gun's barrel is designed and an energy bar design would be on the side depicting power out-put it would be left to right barrel to exit .The inside hollow part of the barrel would have a single handle about midway into the hole just enough to cover the minifig's hand from view and give it that robotic arm look.

With the Metroid series, whose first release was a year earlier than the release of the original Mega Man?

Which brings me to another idea for uses, it could be used for Samus!

Megaman style arm cannon + Brickforge's existing Shock Trooper Helmet (in red w/ a metallic teal or green visor) = Samus Aran! (cue Item Fanfare BGM)
Just make one of Megaman's arm cannons in Dark Green (or old Dark Gray for the Game Boy fans) and she's set! (Remember to make a few in blue, dark blue, etc. so that my Megaman minifig can get some love.)

keep up the ideas so they pass and the original idea of megaman is based off the atari's verison of the blue bomber back when the ancient system was new
