But just a fact, Bass strings are too thick to strum, so you have to pluck them.

Very nice! The bass kind of looks like my old bass, except mine was a 5 string.

That's not necessarily true. If your hands are big/strong enough, a bass can be strummed. It doesn't always sound "good", but it can be done.

Let's see... It was a Dean 5-string I believe. Can't tell you if it has a model name or not but the body was the standard "guitar" shape. I also used to tune everything down so it had a very deep sound.

I wish I could figure out how to turn everything down. I like deep Bass. Maybe it's in my book...
