Can the be held sideways? I intend on photo make a story of a mystic heavy metal music. In many scenes he will be holding the guitar in the classic guitar smashing pose. Or wield it like a weapon.

If you mean sideways by the neck? You'll probably need to use a touch of sticky-tack (or something similar) to hold it in place.

It's possible but a bit fiddly. the back of the neck is a half-round rod so it's a little loose in the hand but us mc's suggestion and you should be set.

I can pose the Peterson 3 string (my unofficial name for the BrickForge electric guitar ;)) so that it looks like my guitarist is about to smash it to smithereens. You have to have it facing upside down and the front facing out. Because of it's shape, it can't be held properly like he is going to smash it on it's side. If I get a chance later, I will take a photo to show what I mean. With the right face and pose, it looks cool.
