Hey everyone! Names Floyd! I'm a 4 year army veteran now nursing major college student. I always liked taking small action figures and depicting them in photography like they were really alive in funny scenes. And then tonight I stumbled upon this really really cool hobby and this forum. As we speak I'm on bricklink ordering myself some minifigs to customize. Oh and I'm from NC! Cya around!

We've got a few vets on this page as well who are excellent guys. While BrickForge doesn't have the most in military minifigure accessories, we do have the best. You can quote me on that

Are there any other reliable sources to get minifigs to customize from? I take it one cannot buy them in blank/bulk packages. From all I've read so far is to just use brasso.

Pretty much BrickLink is the best source. Brasso is what seems to work best although I have yet to try it.

I use GoJo instead of Brasso, works the same.
Also, you can find some good deals on minfigs in quantity on ebay also, if you take some time to sift through them.

You'll love the BF products, they truly are excellent quality!

I've used Brasso as well as eucalyptus oil. Both work quite well for removing print. The trick with removing print I have found, regardless of what you use, is patience.

As the others have said, BF products are top notch and there's a little bit of just about everything. And don't forget to share your creations with the rest of us.
