Thanks. It wasn't personal, so much as unexplainable. I woke up in a low, and ever little thing was horrible. It all resulted in a very bad place, but one I didn't act on.

I'm all to familiar with those days. It's almost like a little part of you doesn't want you to be anything but depressed.

Edit: Wow. It seems like everybody did a cover of "I Fought the Law".

Funny stuff, my days down usually start and end in the late evening. Next morning I tend to be fine, though I've got some days that just crawl the dust as well.

I think we have learned something: those who enjoy Legos and the internet tend to get depressed easily and require meds... Of course it could just be the internet factor.

I know exactly what you mean with a low day, and with end-of-the-day lack of efforts. I've been trying to get over some myself lately, although my plan of action seems to have not amazing consequences - I stay up late one night and get things done, and then the following night I am dead tired but still can't sleep, despite antidepressants and sleep meds.

I love me some [legal and prescribed] drugs. And muffins.

My depression is pretty much directly responsible for my interest in Lego. I was always looking for a medium of escape from the real world. I turned to anime, lego, and video games. That led me here. I never noticed but it looks like you're correct. At least around here it seems like a lot of us have dealt with depression before, or still struggle with it.

The fact would be that All Creative type people have boughts of 'let down' or 'depression' after spending a lot of energy or after finishing a major task. That's why 'slow times' or times of 'no creativity' really drag and bring about the heavy bored n bummed feelings.
And the. Of course, if you're like me, I have variety Issues. I get tired quickly of doing the same thing over and over, or doing things that seem to be meaningless.

That's why it's good to have things in you life that force you outside of yourself.

My problem is a lot more unhealthy. I don't necessarily need to do something creative or constructive. I just practice plain old escapism. I will look for any possible way to ignore the real world. I've gotten a lot better since I started my new anti-depressant, but I haven't quite accepted the fact that I need to live in the real world.

I've never really had any depression-type issues, but I used to get bullied a lot, and then I'd get in trouble for grabbing the bullies and squeezing their arms really hard or trying to run them down and hit them. So you could say I had anger management problems.

Well, when I get finished with my job, I'm gonna go on a little online shopping spree. A few used Tactical RPGs for GBA, some gray 1x2s, and a new volume of Secret Avengers. I'm gonna try and keep it under $50, or a tenth of my predicted pay.

Good choice SMarine, bley 1X2 is one of the best bricks LEGO's got to offer ;)
Regarding depressive thoughts, I've never been on any medicaments for it, and it also comes and goes a lot. In the recent years, I've noticed it's very heavy around early spring.
