Looks older this time, I like it. The shading around the eyes looks like a photo. :D

I guess it's the same guy ... not sure how many years apart the pics were that I was given to sketch from, crazy though.

By jove, excellent work, MC! :D That first one is particularly outstanding. I love the folds on the bandana.

Thanks!
The first one was way funner to do, because it had more details to use. This dress is simple, so its fairly plain. I do really like her hair though.
I've decided that I'm going to match the hair for the character will real minfig hair styles as close as I can ... for the fun of it.

Well, here's my first 'official' beginners art piece with a tablet ...

Welcome Fall!

I'm pretty happy with this, for a beginning. I'm hoping it won't be toooo painful learning how to use Adobe ...

What kind of tablet did you get? I've been wanting one for a while now.

Dunno how I missed those earlier sketches, but those are awesome.

A Cintiq12wx, Wacom. It's expensive, but I can draw right on the screen and it's great to handle.
I was fortunate that some unexpected money arrived and enabled me to purchase it sooner than I had planned.
Also, I bought mine via Amazon and saved $280, which helped.
