Alright! So, you're DM, I guess.

At this point, does anybody have any particular ideas for what they want to do with their character. I know that I would like to play a fighter or barbarian, but, I can play anything if the party's too small for role redundancies and somebody else wants to be the meatshield, err, defender.

I'd be okay with fighter and meatsheild if it's the same as a tank.

Hmmm. I'll either be a rogue or a monk. Haven't decided yet. I play rogues or similar characters in basically any game where it's possible, but I kind of want to try something new. I've never played a monk in anything. They're unarmed right?

I think I'm going to have to watch you guys play a game first because most of the rulebook stuff is going way over my head.

I find this very interesting, but, as said, know an empty chicken's head about the rules. Anybody care to post a link (might be there's one already that I just missed...)?
EDIT: that hypertext.link appears to be about the rules, doesn't it? Are we using all of them, or only some of the sets?

Quite the same situation for me (mainly in Skyrim), sneaking just feels too mainstream ;)

Core rules, and variant rules for races/classes from http://www.d20srd.org/. If you want to use something else on there or from elsewhere let me know and we'll do our best to make it work [maintain fairness for everybody]

I'll play the barbarian or fighter!

@S133: In clarification, paladin/fighter/barbarian=tank

you're gonna have problems reading that... ugh. I spent liek four hours digitizing this dang map.
Won't be on tomorrow but - if you're planning on playing let me know what race/class you're thinking about so I can get you the background info you'd be likely to know.
