I can think of a whole lot that can be done with this.

Bikers: anything from the fonze to sons of anarchy etc...

Super heroes: Lobo, evil ernie etc...

or just local city flavor

it would just need to be a vest type cover with an open front

There are plenty of official printed torsos that have leather jackets. I'm to lazy to look them up, so just go to Bricklink.

look up "lego minifigure jacket" on ebay, then thank me later.

I would quite like to see a leather waistcoat - maybe in black or reddish brown - a slip on part would be much cooler than the variety of torso's that are available. I guess a part a bit like the Samurai robe from minifigcat would be pretty cool. Saying that it would be quite a fiddly piece.

On my list of ongoing projects I have the Warriors fil so such a thing would be way cool! I've seen it done before but only with original lego parts and putty. I think with the latest brickforge bits and some of the new mini figs it could be done with a more fresh look
