The pic of the wizard staff shows a skull set in the staff here: http://www.brickforge.com/store/product ... 314&page=2

What piece do you use to connect the skull to the staff?

Location: Kyōto-fu, Kyōto-shi, Ukyō-ku
Knowing these guys it's probably a 4x or 3x rod and the head is just placed on top or it's a custom adapter.

I'd say 3x4 rod, chopped, shoved into a technic pin, which is then connected to the skull.
