I'm trying my hand at decals since I don't have the means to do some custom minifigs. I bought Adobe Illustrator and have been messing around a little bit. I've been just teaching myself through Youtube tutorials, and I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I have a Japanese one and a British one too on my Flickr page. you can see the details a little better from Flickr because I shrank them way down to fit here.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! It will be a while before I can get them on any minifigs :/ But once I'm home I'll get a nice printer and start making all kinds of minifigs!

Sweet!
My good printer died, so I know what you mean.

They can be pretty pricy for a nice laser-jet printer.

You can also use an inkjet, and then apply a 'sealer' spray. It has worked well for the waterslide decals I've used. :o)

It is tricky! I find its a lot easier to learn then Photoshop though! Just go to YouTube and check out some tutorials, that really helped me out
