I'm sure many of us (or at least nominally our kids) got some Lego today.

My kids got a couple minifigs (series 3 pilot and series 5 dwarf and lizard man), and a bunch of the small sets- one knights, one alien conquest, one deep-sea adventure, two Egyptian adventurers (scarab attack and golden staff), one city (camper), and one of the new Ninjago sets (Jay's storm fighter).

They also each got a small bag full of assorted hats and weapons for their minifigs- my daughter got six new bits of girly hair, along with various helmets, swords, and shields (all colour-coded, so everyone knows which sword is whose).

Between the various sets (and a few that my gaming group gave me), I think we've got another twenty or so more minifigs. I can now set up some large-scale battles for my group!

Highlights include 3 Super Star Destroyers, The Black Pearl, a whole set of the large Grand Emporium type buildings, more minifigure packs than I could reasonably count quickly(over 100), both the collector version and the group of 50 you can get from shop at home, a couple monorail sets and a couple of the technic space shuttles.

4 series 5 minifigs, lizardman, zookeeper, mafia boss, and boxer. And Heroica Waldurk Forests [ranger one...]

We now have all 4 heroica sets and am trying to collect more... they need to come out with more!

And legend of zelda twilight princess, a stikfas dragon, an inflatable d20, and some other nifty stuff.

No Lego this year, but the D&D core rules are pretty nice, and Halo CEA's been fun so far.
