All we need now is official Lego Star Trek and I can die a happy AFOL.

Amen to that!

I myself am quite excited about this, I love LotR and the Hobbit (my favorite books). I doubt it will replace the actual LEGO Castle Line, we have had LEGO space running alongside LEGO StarWars for years. LEGO PotC replacing LEGO Pirates didn't surprise me (I actually was expecting it), Pirates is not a main theme, Castle is. I am not worried one bit. but if LotR/Hobbit does replace the actual LEGO Castle Line, I wouldn't mind (actually I might, I dunno). I was not overly impressed with the recent Kingdoms line anyway.

I can't wait to see how their Sting, Uruk'Hai sword, and shield look compared to ours.

The main thing that I am looking forward to is more dwarves (Man! I love dwarves!), also the thought that we might get army building battle packs! I want a Dwarf army!

Preach on brother! I'm also looking forward to more Orcs... You see, in my screwed-up timeline, some of the Orcs turned to the good side (even at the ages of 10 and 8 my brother and I were kind of cheesed off at J. R. R. Tolkien for making ALL the orcs evil, so we decided to do something about it), one of whom was Ugluk, who is currently a heavy gunner in the Federal Republic of America Army (Cpl. "I call it Vera" Ugluk, that is)...

Cool! I've been wondering when TLC would do this. But there will be a problem, think about all the recent movie/books they made into sets, think about the Pirats of the Caribbean (in particular Admiral Norrington from #4183), did they turn out exactly, or even close, the way we wanted them to? I have a fealing that's what is going to happen with these. I'm sure I'll like them anyway.

My guess is that there will be a printed tile for the Ring, or............... THE ONE ARMBAND TO RULE THEM ALL

Three Bricks for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of plastic,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Brick to rule them all, One Brick to find them,
One Brick to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

I hope we see some Gondorian Cavalry in a smaller set.

Actually, it would be better like this:

Three Bricks for the Elven-Kings under the sky
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of ABS,
Nine for Mortal Minifigures, doomed to die,
One for the Brick Lord on his brick throne
In the land of Mordor, where the pieces lie.
One Brick to rule them all, One Brick to find them,
One Brick to bring them all and in the darkness build them
In the land of Mordor, where the pieces lie.
