I found a LINK to this article on Classic-Castle, which came from Eurobricks. I am posting it here, because I am excited that the best part of these lines are the hair pieces which are compatible with the minifig heads. Looks like a bunch of different hair options. :) Apparently the neck holes are smaller than a minifig neck post, but this being a customizing site, I'm sure a dremmel will do the trick. Hopefully there will be a post with how the hair looks on a female minifig in the near future. Our Eurobricks ambassador Omi will hopefully update us ;)

The Friends headgear is compatible with regular figs (and vice versa).

Awesome. Thanks for the link. It appears as though I am not the only one liking the hair pieces. Prior to 2000, we had 3 options for female hair. These sets appear to have maybe 6 possible new female hair pieces. The hair is the soft plastic kind though.

Yeah, I saw the review on Eurobricks, and while I was thinking about getting the purple sports car, seeing this sealed the deal for me: I definitely want the sports car and Olivia's Treehouse now: the first for the snazzy car (I think, based on the pics, that I might be able to build a darg-green and black version) an the second for more tree parts, the bugs, cat and Olivia's hair (which is a closer match for my girlfriend's sig fig than what I have now).

Looks pretty cool, although I am in no way their target audience. Will be getting the hedgehog/porcupine set fosho. Definitely want more cabinets/drawers, even if they're pink and purple.

Yeah, that, along with the nifty chalkboard and cool robot are the main reasons I'm also thinking about getting Olivia's workshop/lab set as well.... :)

Well, I can't say that I'm surprised, but this line hasn't even really hit the shelves yet and there's already a huge stink being raised by feminist groups about it....

Seriously, if they REALLY wanted to make a difference, they should be protesting against Iran an other oppressive countries that actually treat women like crap rather than complaining about pink toys for girls... I mean its not like anyone is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to buy this rather than regular LEGO sets.

I'm not surprised. I just recently had to deal with a feminist on another site I frequent because of the Collectible Minifig females being too feminine. Luckily I have met quite a few female AFOL's that are not associated with such stupid ideas. If a girl is so psychologically fragile that pink offends them, then they have bigger problems than LEGO. If they want something to cry about, I am sure I can build something that will offend them.

Amen!

These look pretty cool. I bet my granddaughter would really like these when she's a couple years older :o)
