I have finally modified my first part.

I was really happy with the process and results. The inside edges could be a bit cleaner but until I can go out and buy some fine sandpaper or something its good for now.
I removed the inside of a 55237b, a Bionicle minifigure weapon. This will be part of a new staff for a new minifigure that I'm working on.

I have finished the Staff of Storms. Kai Sharga's signature mage's staff. Kai Is a new character in my new fanfiction based off my Ranma 1/2 role play groups new chronicle.

The Staff of Storms' most potent ability is the summoning/conjuring of an extremely powerful (100+hd for you d&d fans)monster called a Tempest. A tempest is a living storm which appears as a dark storm cloud of comparatively large size. Human or bestial features can often be seen in the roiling vapors of the tempest. Silver veins extend across the creature and carry the electrical impulses that maintain the storm's energy. Tempests are composed of all four basic elements, fire, earth, air, and water; fire in the form of lightning, earth in their silver "circulatory system," air in their winds, and water in the form of rain.
