Huzzah for Omi! :D

Plain white might have been meh, but at least have something better than gray. Most boring thing ever. I bet you a dollar they'll change it back after they get complaints.

EDIT: Anyone else see the new "HALO" car commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVU3ftcu ... re=related

I agree with you guys, but Facebook got millions of complaints after their countless stupid changes and that has yet to stop them... (Hopefully YouTube will fix it though)

Why fix what ain't broke? :P

When you have a site that has been the same for so, so long, and the members become well adjusted to it, it's a big kick in the nads when they up and go change everything.

That commercial has been around for some time. I haven't seen the full version in a while though but there is a shorter version that plays quite a bit.

As for the new Youtube layout, I like the grey but don't really like the way they have arranged everything. Luckily, I don't spend a lot of time on Youtube so it doesn't have much of an impact on me.

Grey is not the most boring colour. That would be brown.

Moreover, there are only three options: white, black, or grey. Other colours aren't neutral enough to be general backgrounds.

Normally I would agree; I usually really hate sites messing with their layouts. But the youtube change hasn't bothered me at all. I didn't even notice it was grey until Napo pointed it out... but it has been much easier on the eyes.

Shilo Parker is amazing.

Really? I watch far too much TV, and it's only been on here for a week or two. Probably has something to do with where Soul-purchasers are from, and my area might be at the bottom of the marketing list...

You are right. I just looked at youtube again and the new layout is amazing. You're also the best builder of all time. You rock, SV!

It came out in August (debuted nationally at the MTV VMAs), and has since been played, mostly the shorter version, at least once a day on just about every channel here in the Cincinnati area. In fact, I've noticed it hasn't been played quite as much as it used to be, thanks to the holiday season and all of the holiday themed commercials.
