Not a fan of animal cruelty, equally not a fan of PETA.

@Animal fur discussion: I'm ok with actual animal fur so long as it was an honest hunt and kill, not farmed. Not ok with animal cruelty either. Also the animal farms for beef really aren't that bad.

I'm gonna have to agree with this. PETA tends to take things a bit too far.

I agree with both the above statements.

Oh, so back in my freshman year of college when I was in the dorms one of my dorm mates sorta got brainwashed by PETA into blindly following their arguments and she started posting PETA stickers all around the hall without asking how others felt about it which led to arguments. One of my favorite moments of this was when we were talking about animals eating other animals so why shouldn't humans be able to. She says "At least when one animal kills another it's quickly and painless." So my friend when into his room, brought out a laptop and showed her a video of a lion flailing a live zebra around by it's neck.

Yeah, cats have all the fun playing with their food.

@Mach: Sorry, I'm not the greatest with generalizing regions in geography.

@PETA talk: I think PETA is just insane. This was a pamphlet they made for CHILDREN: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... c_Book.gif

Edit: My avvy's done gone all jingley-jangly!

Just got back home a bit ago. Drove from Enfield CT to Springfield MA and back. I'm a very happy camper. :)

I think Napoleon brought that up one time.

When in doubt with that part of the world, just go with Latin America. That covers everything from México to Chile as well as all nations in the Caribbean.

As for that PETA comic, I want to laugh at the absurdity of it, but the fact that they really feel that way just scares me. I understand having strong feelings towards a cause, but that's way too far, especially to subject children to.
