Hello there everybody! It has been a while again, I am so sick of all of this homework. I agree with the whole animal thing, it makes my blood boil when I see how they get treated in the industries. That is why I always eat organic food!

It is bad how animals are treated, but as terrible as that is, I'm more concerned about persecuted Christians in China, North Korea, the Middle East, and Central America.

Depends. My best friend's dad loves hunting, but at least he cooks and eats what he kills, whether it's duck, deer(venison), etc. If you aren't gonna waste it's life, I'm fine with it. I hate real animal-fur pelts(seriously, there are fake ones that look and feel EXACTLY like real ones without hurting animals, why use it?!) and mainly animal testing. Companies like shampoo and perfume companies take animals like rabbits, squirrels, and other small creatures, put shampoo/perfume in their eyes, and test to see what happens so they know what to put on the warning label for humans. that'd be like me walking up to someone, gauging out there eyes, measuring how much blood comes out of their head, putting it into some science book, and saying "Okay, next person." At least hunters kill their prey quickly, with guns or snapping the creatures neck so it doesn't feel pain. And people who believe in animal cruelty piss me off. I dont care if they dont like a cat, or a squirrel, or a dog. Honestly, people anger me.

*phew* And with that out of the way, I also have faith in some parts of humanity, like most of the people on this forum.

My family and I always eat what we kill, and when we hunt birds, we donate the feathers to preschools to make Indian headpieces as a Thanksgiving-time activity.

While I'd like to agree with everything you said Slayer, there is one thing that I have to either disagree with or just add onto. Regarding the animal pelts, I'd say that if the animal who it came from was killed for food I can't see a problem with the use of the pelt. Use every part if you can, right? Persecution of Christians in Central America?
Also, I worry more about persecution in general. There are quite a few groups I disagree with, and who have persecuted me personally in the past, but I try to keep level headed and open. Live and let live.

Yeah, that's fine. But I've gone to soo many shops where they told me that each animal was only skinned for the pelts when I would ask(I only ask because I grew up with a sister who specializes in animals and works with them as her job). And I still think a non-animal pelt that is exactly alike is better, regardless.
