Glad to hear your long distance mobile again Arcanamachi!

I used to get soap in the mouth too, I always thought it was a Catholic thing but I think it was just a good tool for parants

@Arc: I can't imagine being permanently paralyzed, but I have been in a wheel chair twice. I was only in it for 2 months each time. Congrats on being able to drive again. Must feel really good. May I ask how you lost the use of your legs?

Dish soap from my step mom, jalapeno seeds from my real mom.

And if you know me, you would know they didn't do a thing. :P

On the subject of how I ended up this way... well without giving my actual age away... lets just say I wasn't watching where I was going and... bam, loss of leg usage. I don't really like to talk about it.
Being this mobile means a lot to me. It can actually expand my business, because I'll be able to go to a client instead of them coming to me. I can move my office out of my home and have a store front. I could actually get a website, etc... I've LOST business because of non mobility. "I'm sorry we can't bring 100 PCs to your home for an undetermined amount of time." For my family I guess it makes them happy to have me happy.

Glad to hear you are allowed to drive again Arcanamachi. My dad is disabled so I've seen how frustrating it can be for someone who has to rely on others for transport.

Be thankful it wasn't MY mother who heard you. She believed in the soap in the mouth discipline.

My girlfriend is starting to learn most of the Spanish swear words I know. I feel your pain.

As for moms and swearing, my mom believed in the soap method as well. That or a light smack on the lips or hand. But, like my signature says...
