These last two are incredible...-er. Incredibler. The hair on the one before the last is amazing. I can barely fathom doing that well. No idea how you make it look so realistic.

The hair is done in layers: shade in areas that will be dark and then ...
rough hair strokes, lightly smooth them out - repeat with more distinct hair strokes, lightly smooth them out - more detailing hair strokes, smooth only shadows and darker places out - detailing and finishing hair strokes, touch up light shading - reverse hair strokes with a knead eraser to create light strands, lightly dab out areas with sun highlights.
Of course, the thicker the hair, the more shading and layering it takes ... even for light colored hair.

Great stuff! The last one reminds me of Keira Knightly.
