I'm A Poor Lonesome Cowboy
By, Balrog1910

Chap. 1
The name's Luke. Leastways, that's what my parents called me, so I figger that's what my name is. I'm a cowboy, ya know, riding the range and all that. Well I'm gonna tell ya'll a li'l story here.

One night I was layin' in my bedroll and listenin' to the Kid singin' to the cattle.

The Cattle Lullabye
Get along little dogies/ Stop shaking the ground/ All day you've stomped/ And rumbled around/ Get along little dogies/ And move real slow/ Hi-yo hi-yo hi-yo hi-yo.

Suddenly, there was a crack of thunder and them Longhorns jest went plum' crazy!

So, What do you think?

Once them dogies started stampedin', they didn't stop for a long time. It was a'most mornin' when we got 'em to quiet down.
