"FAES was pronounced "phase" not "feces." And those two words sound nothing alike" - well actually the correct phonetic pronunciation for the word "feces" is -
- ˈfē-(ˌ)sēz or alternately fæces, so it 'sounds' quite similar to me.
Though the phonetic pronunciation is rather inconsequential if you are referring to an abbreviation (F.A.E.S) or any printed version of the 'name' in question.
" am aware that Fawkyr (not fawker, as you spelled it) does sound similar to fokker, just with the pronounciation of the extra "w." If I'd spelled it "Fakyr," then ya it would have been said as fokker, but I didn't, so yeah". - so yeah indeed! Despite your perceived phonetic pronunciation of various spellings the semantics regarding either the printed or spoken version of that name clearly denote the similarities between it and a popular cuss word.
"alot of pokemon names are based from latin" - yes i was well aware of this fact. In this example though i would consider it irrelevant in this instance as the origin of the word was not in question, i was implying that parallels could be drawn between Ventus and Venusaur when reading either of these words in their 'printed' form, but then your attempted reasoning for many things relies on phonetic pronunciation, so once again you would just consider that i am incorrect.
In my opinion i was contributing to your 'name help' by pointing out the quality of those you had speculated upon so far. i was not seeking to 'upset you', but i feel no remorse whatsoever if you cant take what i would consider 'creative criticism'.
Shadow Viking: Good to see you here too. i have actually been here quite some time, but dont post often as the 'banter' tends to be a little 'grade school' for me. Can see how i was being 'uncivil', just offering the guy some 'creative criticism'.
If your going to debate about this subject, then this thread is not the place to do it, however,
this thread is.
