I just realized something: Am I the only one here who thinks that this upcoming version of the Black ninja (Cole?) looks almost exactly like Ryu Hayabusa from "Ninja Gaiden" and the Blue Ninja looks like a good facsimile of Shadow from Final Fantasy VI?

Actually, my son said something similar :o)

The snakes, and several other things in these, will be used for some StarGate MOCs that are slowly brewing!!

We're more in the "collecting" stage ... gathering items and minfig accessories to use
I'd love to make an inside sectional of a Ha'atak; it would also be really sweet to make a Al'kesh that could open and be used.

Someone pointed me in the direction of the black ninja when I posted my Ryu. I'll definitely be using that headgear.

As for Shadow, he needs to be darker blue. :P

I found these photos on hmillington's Flickr page and thought they needed shared here.

IMO, the red snake heads look goofy and the blue ones look a little over sized. The think I like the best however is the tail piece. I look forward to seeing some Medusa type figures from the Clash of the Titans made with these.

Image

The headgear on the guys on the left seem to be over sized just a tad, but neat idea.

Image

One think I want to point out is the shoulder pads. FAIL is all I need to say. I'd really be curious to see how the BF arched pauldrons look on these guys.

Looks like they could be used for Stargate.

Those shoulder pads are quite horrible. While I agree it would be interesting to see the BF arched pauldrons in comparison, I was under the impression the neck armor/pauldron combo would not fit under the LEGO ninja headwrap.

I was thinking this also. However if the BF ones work, I think they will look way better.
