I also found out today that I will be doing a "full body" piece for all of these guys ... I'm thinking of doing them "in character" as sketches, to help give a different look to them. I'll tackle that after I've finished the portraits, woohoo!!

It's hard not to, since that looks very much like the Skyrim trailer helm and very little like real viking helms :p

'tis true, this helmet was fashioned as a reflection of the Skyrim one, the visual appearance suits the book's character very well, verses the traditional viking helm. This guy needs a bit more (though I will admit, this one - the shape - makes me think of a strange C3PO) :o)
