I was directed to this site after I mentioned that I started using my kids' Lego minifigs as miniatures in my current AD&D campaign. My first order arrived today, and I'm already thinking about what I'll be ordering next.....

I don't know if I'll manage to post anything- my camera doesn't seem to do very well with close-ups of small objects. And using the other camera would involve actually finding a place that still sells film.

Congrats on your BF order and on finding the great world of mini's in Lego :o)
A lot of cameras don't do well with close up pics of small objects. You could try taking a regular pic and cropping it on your computer, in which ever photo editing tool you have ... and it would help reduce the image size to make it easier for posting; they don't need fancy editing.

In regards to your picture taking, look for a macro function (Icon is usually a flower) and make sure your area is well lit. Those two things can help tremendously

I have found that macro, but in previous trials (not involving minfigs), it didn't seem to help....

But I promise to give it a try.
