well considering they clearanced out the old brown Javelins, you'd think they would have Reddish Brown available.

The mold it belongs to hasn't been made in reddish brown.

Well then curious how the round Pauldron, which is on the same mold as the Javelin is available in reddish brown while the Javelin is not?

Because the round pauldron isn't on that mold. It is on the one with the wizard staff and vambraces.

Well according to the mold chart the round pauldron is on mold 3 and revisited on mold 5, so it is on mold 3, but also on mold 5, as it goes its sad if mold 3 is not going to be done since it has a few items which would look good in Reddish brown like the Javelin and Dwarf Beard and Sage Beard.

Revisited meaning redone, as in the round pauldrons we have now come with mold 5, not 3.

I can't give you the reason why it was revisited on Mold 5, but I am pretty sure there are no significant changes. What I can tell you is that Reddish Brown Javelins are not scheduled to be released in the near future.
