After seeing the recently released "spill / splat", I was thinking about what other types of interesting pieces could be designed to convey special effects. Here are just a few ideas I had. Let me know if you like these, or if you have any of your own:

Blast Ricochet Effect - These could be somewhat stylized, come in trans clear colors, and then clip onto TLG elements such as a Lightsaber blade.

Blast Muzzle Flash Effect - These would look cool in solid or trans clear I'm thinking. Make it so they can easily plug onto TLG sized gun barrels.

Explosion / Smoke Effect - I'm picturing something that could plug into one or 2 studs on a brick.

Exit Wound Effect - I'm not sure how you would exactly attach that to a Mini Fig torso, but just thought I would throw the idea out there.

I support! A blast ricochet effect would be totally amazing!

Interesting ideas, I'm sure the brickfilmers would really find some great uses for this stuff. I always have seen the spill piece as being different from a special effect as it's actually representing something physical, but I like your idea of special effects themselves!

We actually modeled many of these ideas but discovered some molding issues during the process.
