The announcement of the LEGO Super Heroes line has generated a lot of excitement over the past few days..Yay!

Given the announcement I thought I'd request a new series of capes and accessories to compliment the upcoming figures.

I believe Arealight used to sell a molded, flowing cape design...and that's exactly the type of thing I would be looking for. The TLG capes are lifeless and just lay there. If designed right, they could support different insignia to be screen printed on them. The potential beyond super heroes also exists (SW, Castle, etc.)

Other 'opportunities' would include vambraces with fins (think Dark Knight), a winged helmet for Thor, a better lasso for Wonder Woman, etc.

It seemed that the Captain America items were rather popular, so hopefully the potential for more 'super' items can be a reality.

I agree (plus, Green Lantern will have to get a bunch of trans green axes, hammers, and other weapons of that sort )

you could make a really awesome gun for deadpool

The Green Lantern figure will need a lantern (does anyone know what sets that figure will be in and what it will contain?).

Also, Green Lantern may also need an adapter for his hand. I haven't seen yet what LEGO has in store for his sets (I can't imagine he'll be without some sort of green projections from his hand), but even if they did create a piece, it might be good to have for other sets.
