I have just discovered that Lego is making a Super Hero line 8o I'm pretty excited about this. Looks like both DC and Marvel comic characters might be coming our way. I usually don't care about licensed themes, but this is the big exception for me. New opportunities for BrickForge to expand upon as well. ;) Here are the articles you can read for yourself.

I can't say I'm all that excited about this. TLC might come out with some cool new parts, but the other batman line was a bit boring. Hopefully it will be better then I thought. I also hope my joykilling doesn't ruin it for you.

I personally have mixed feelings about this whole thing.

In the minifig customization community, the DC and Marvel comics was one of the cornerstones. There are those like myself who got into customizing to make what Lego has not and create a world/theme Lego did not. Now with this new theme coming out, that pretty much takes away a cornerstone and basically Lego saying (hey you don't have to make these figs anymore because we are now". Yeah people can make to add onto it, but it doesn't feel the same.

However I am glad they finally made a better Dark Knight fig.
