Definitely a good idea, but, the fact everyting is made of cubes means the handles HAVE to be round. And a product has to appeal to a lage crowd. Lots of people play Minecraft, but how many of those people like LEGO?

Old topic is old.
Besides... Lego already makes pickaxes, shovels, swords, axes, and bows... Don't see why Minecraft's are different enough to warrant mold space.

Hey, this topic isn't locked yet!

But I honestly think the wisest way to accomplish this is to use 2x2 (or maybe even 3x3) translucent tiles and then apply a high-res decal printed on clear decal paper. This could be used in conjunction with a larger series of LEGO Minecraft figures built out of bricks, much like the ones on ebay but with better dimensions. I have built a Minecraft grass block with the dimensions 4 plates wide, 4 plates deep, and 10 plates tall, along with a low-res temporary decal. Plus I figured out (but haven't tried) a simple connecting mechanism to connect the blocks from all sides.

But like Biohazard said, making new pieces other than a translucent 3x3 plate is illogical. `

Yes, but it's last post is quite old, so we generally wouldn't revive them. Just for future reference. It's kind of like double posting.

Just wanted to post a relevant solution (and a smart one at that) before the cycle starts again, no shame in that.
