Anyone considered replacement arms or legs for mini-figs that resemble cyborg parts ?
Some of the existing bits of Lego, the wee small pieces, do work nicely for customization but if BF had 'stock' arm and leg components that one could mix and match, the convenience alone should appeal to builders.

I don't believe I said "HI & Welcome to the forums" yet, so there ;) Funny you should mention this because something similar was on my mind earlier today. I'd like to see arms at differing angles to be able to hold things properly, like a bat, golf club, rifle, or legs for kneeling. Robotic arms and legs would be nice, along with some different ones like monster, alien, muscled, etc.

Thanks Quickblade, And thank you as well for the support of the idea Skello Bandit !

I'm just one of these people that like to tinker with working bits and see if I can expand on their application, hence modular arm & leg pieces.

I support this!
Especially since Lego has 'seen the light' and is starting this direction. It would be great to have a few arms and legs that are shaped triangular at the base or thicker ... not all robots and cyborgs are thin and trim.

Agreed. I'd like to see some more "heavier" cyborg body parts, for heavy robots and stuff like that.

The next question might logically be, where does the jump from cyborg bits to powered armor-battlesuit components begin ?

I love this idea as well. There are a lot of things you could use mix-and-match pieces for, in addition to cyborgs... like monsters, werewolves, animal people or what-have-you. Even if they aren't "whole" body parts; just having "slippers" that snap onto the minifig's feet to add claws or paws (does that make sense?), for instance, would be extremely useful. And IMHO, cooler than Lego's current method of just printing claws on the front of the foot, like they've done for the Chima minifigs.
