Hi all, newbie here (and new BrickForge customer).

I had a couple of sci-fi related suggestions for Brick Forge after seeing the Ipad and Iphone they did for Brick Magic.

I was thinking of some sort of communicator device (like the original Star Trek), and a P.A.D.D (from the Next Generation) or tricorder/scanner type gadget.

Just my .02 cents.

Hooray! Another Trekkie! I fully endorse these suggestions!

These ideas sound good although I don't know what they look like... :)

But maybe a comlink device of sorts would be cool!

Oh, and welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the welcome lads. Here are some reference pics for the some of the items I mentioned:

Something to draw ideas (and inspiration) from.

Some of those could be made on plates ... these have some good uses, and could be converted to other themes like S&R, Extreme, Agents, Police, Fire ...

I'm sure they could indeed find use in other themes. What are "plates"? (Is my nOob showing?)

I think the ideas look better now! I like these ideas as I said before.

I think the PADD 1 pic shows something that could be done, similarly, and remain ambiguous and generic enough not to be directly associated with Star Trek and for any sci-fi use. ;)

I wouldn't mind an TOS tricorder as well, with soft plastic as a shoulder strap, like the LEGO shoulder bags.
