I apologize if this has been discussed before but I have never been active on the brickforge forums. I was wondering if Brickforge ever put any thought into making a Powered Assault Commando style vambrace. Maybe even a small piece could slightly overlap the hand just to make it look cooler. I know that the regular vambraces work quite well and as you can see from my Flickr photostream that I definitly put them to good use all of the time, but I feel like making a Powered Assault Commando version to go with the armor BF has, as well as the hopefully upcoming ODST armor would round out the entire collection quite nicely and overall add that finishing touch that I feel is needed to take the SMA armor set over the top! Let me know what you guys think! And again I apologize if this has been talked about before.

It's been a slow weekend on the forums it seems. The answer is yes, BrickForge has given thought to other types of vambraces in the future. I personally feel that the vambraces are such an inventive item for minifig accessorizing that a few different ones in the future would be nice. Who knows what we'll see down the road? Maybe a new shape, or something screen printed, time will tell.

Thanks for the info Quickblade. Glad to hear that Brickforge has dabbled in the thought of different styles of vambraces. Hopefully we will all get to see some new ones soon:-) I guess I just thought with the popularity of the SMA armor, I would have thought to have seen more replies, but I guess it could just be a slow weekend.

Some more elaborate styles of vambraces would be awesome- segmented bracers to match the segmented pauldrons, for instance.
Powered Assault Commando styled armpieces would be cool too- and would probably work well for a lot of other futuristic armour...

I agree; more types of vambraces would be awesome. Some to match the segmented pauldrons as SV stated would be great, and as Pecovam said, some to match the Powered Assault Commando armor'd be neat too! Can't wait to see what's down the road!

I'd like to see segmented vambraces, vambraces that could go with the new prched pauldrons, and Powered Assault Commando Vambraces would be awesome...
