10 yrs ago, I was the mentor for a senior project. We did a stop animation project that he ended up getting a 98% on. This was done with the original LEGO Studios camera and my LEGO collection. The student went on to become a Civil Engineer. Enjoy the 2 videos.

The Black Knight

Star Wars trilogy promo

Those are great. Was The Black Knight a shot-for-shot remake? If not, it still very well captures the feel of the scene.

Those are pretty sweet! I loved the Black Knight one... One of my favorite scenes in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Thanks for the comments. The video was not a shot for shot remake, but he did his best to capture the scene. The only editing done was with the software that came with the LEGO Studios set. Had I had some of the resources I have now, I'd have used some photoshop and a few other techniques. This project was all being done at the exact time I was in the process of moving into my new house (10 years yesterday :)) I've seen some great stop motion with LEGO over the years, but for 2002, this was pretty dang good. I just wish I'd have shared it sooner with the world.
