That always really bugged me about Fairy Tail. That was just terrible.

Well, my LEGO budget just took a big hit: My faithful internet computer, after 12 years of service, finally kicked the bucket well and good: According to the beep code, the BIOS crashed, meaning it is deader than a doornail.

Looks like I'll have to get on NewEgg and order a new MoBo, RAM & possibly graphics card & power supply. :/

At least my high-power portable gaming computer is still fully functional....

So sorry! Hopefully it won't take you long to 'rebuild / replace' :o)

Thanks for the sympathy over my old computer dying.... Truth is, I was thinking about replacing it/giving it a complete system overhaul within the next year or two anyways.

One of my friends offered an I-5 board and processor for $300, but I declined: That's about the max I want to spend on all the parts I'll need put together...

In other news, I spent about 12 hours on the road today: Went down to Crewe Virginia to buy some rare & exotic hardy bamboo at MidAtlantic Bamboo. The trip down took 3 hours longer than it was supposed to due to HORRIBLE traffic on I-95 South between DC & Fredricksburg, VA... I'm talking "the 24-hour traffic jam going 30 miles either direction from where I-15 meets I-10 West of Los Angeles" bad.

At least I got my Indocalaus Tessalatus and Shibatea Kumasaca (both rare types of dwarf or shrub bamboo), and the wife part of the husband-wife team that owns the nursery threw in a seedling of the "Flying Dragon" variety of the hardy citrus trees I have (it looks kinda like a citrus version of Harry Lauder's Walking Stick bushes).

Now time to watch Frozen with my wife and head to bed.....

I actually know very little about Doctor Who other than he's funny and it's got these unforgettable dalek gizmos for an enemy. also that they can't climb stairs.
Stairs... Nooo... The world was almost ours, and they didn't put an elevator in. Snaaaap. ;9

Added a clip of what may have been the very first time one flew, since even the Doctor didn't seem to think it would happen.

Aah, yes, Daleks, or as I liked to call them when I was a kid, R2-D2's evil cousins. :D

Anyways, just watched Frozen on Blu-Ray with my wife. It was pretty good, especially how it basically deconstructed or subverted every trope in the classic Disney Princess movies. :)

I'm also thinking about making a necklace for the first time in a couple years... I already have a Native American themed one made with bone, buffalo horn glass & deer antler beads & a German-themed beaded necklace made entirely out of gemstone (mostly Baltic Amber), semi-precious stone & silver beads. This time I'm thinking about making a ribbon choker using this one silver cross I got at a gem & jewelry exchange in Guam back when I was in the Navy. I need to buy some suitable ribbon first, though. :/
