I understand your point that this is much more accepted than the inverse you talked about, but there are still people who see this as an attack worthy point of some women't character. I'm in no way supporting the binary gender roles of our society, but I'm putting that out there.
Yeah, I do know that, but (1) They're mostly bass-ackwards hicks who make the guys from "Deliverance" look sophisticated and (2) if any feminist group (and I mean ANY) heard about it, then they will come down on them like a ton of bricks and see that the person in question is brought so low that his former friends will have to kneel to spit on him.
Of course, that is "if"... My wife suffered in the fundamentalist private school she went to for the last 2 years of HS because of her tomboyish tendencies, what with the other girls calling her a lesbian and stuff like that... But yeah, I'm all for TRUE gender equality, regardless of where one falls on the gender continuum.
EDIT: I also agree with you 100%: I feel that the Kinsey Scale (which is for sexual orientation) is a good START, but what's needed is more like a Venn Diagram: A 3D Venn Diagram, possibly made out of Klein Flasks
, and that still probably wouldn't cover ALL variations.....
@Wren: I feel your pain: I got called those kinds of homophobic slurs more than any of the actually gay kids at the school, especially since they were probably so far in the closet they could reach Narnia.... I'm Christian, but I can't stand fundy bigots, and I'll call them out on their BS every time I see them pulling that kind of stuff.
Also, LOL at the "reboot me" sign on the micro-manager.
