Spent my frivolous money on pieces to build a double decker couch in my school colors, plus some random fun stuff the seller happened to have on their BrickLink. First experience with PayPal, and buying through BrickLink in general. Have a Lego pencil holder with Wyldstyle, Emmet, and Unikitty on top sitting next to my computer in the kitchen...

Nice!!

Got my days cut from 7 to 4 days a week. Just trained the new kid tonight. Kind of sucks. It really sucks actually, but I've slowed down a lot since I hurt my leg. Really don't want to hurt it again, but I don't get as much done, so I understand where they're coming from.

Tough stuff :( , at least they're keeping you and giving you a chance to build some 'work history'. It will go a long way if you ever find that you can work more hours or such.

I'm going to enroll in what classes I can at the community college with the money I've made so far. It's not much, but my parents will help me out. I wish they didn't have to, but I don't have any better options. From there I'll try and find a new part time job with more hours, and hopefully a lot less physically intensive. Then it's off to a real university to study astronomy. If things go well enough.

Sweet! And you know, my kids all wished they could be self-sufficient when they were moving into college and work too. The big thing is that you're trying and putting out a real effort, and your folks know it. I'm glad they can help some.

I just looked up how to field strip an AK-74 because we finally got some ammo for the one my older brother gave us. Waste of time. I thought all the stories about how simple it was were exaggerated. Nope. Three pieces. Just three easy pieces.

So, I did another trial run with my epoxy and minfig parts molds ... though they came out mostly well, it is apparent that I need something that seals better. The molds had plenty of epoxy, and the solidified nicely, but they leaked part of the liquid causing the molds to lose part of their fill. So I guess now I will need to find a different source for the epoxy mold. The clear is curing clean and nice ... so that's a step in the right direction.

I hope you work it out.

So Robin Williams killed himself. That's really sad, but not particularly surprising. He will certainly be missed.

@R.Williams: sad thing for sure

My molds, I am giving a shot to use them with some molding clay ... if that works, and it should, it will help me keep some consistency with my unit of Fallen.
