So you know the whole analog-is-best-for-movement and mouse-is-best-for-look thing? What if we used a mouse and joystick? Any one know if that works?

@S133: hmm, good question

FYI: for those who missed it, but would be interested ... I've posted my Skyrim Dovahkiin minfig, and a more serious digital art of my White Samurai.
:o)

@S133: It doesn't work great. It's harder than you'd think to do both properly at the same time.

"Nope. You totally can't have a music festival in this beautiful downtown park where tons of people will visit. You have to go to the dead dusty fairgrounds that no one likes." Of course. Of course.

Just finished Sly 4: Thieves in Time. I waited SIX FREAKING YEARS to play this, and I was not disappointed. :D It was sooooo good. Sanzaru did a good job of making a sequel for a legendary franchise (the original Sucker Punch games even partly inspired Assassin's Creed!). The graphics were beautiful (one of the prettiest games I've ever played; maybe even the prettiest, next to Bioshock Infinite), the character design was way better than before, and the story was a good balance of weird, cartoony, and funny. The variety of things to do was intense, too. Fun stuff.

I had deliberately put off buying Sly 4 so I wouldn't have to wait for the next one for so long ( I needs mah fix), and now I'll probably end up replaying it over and over until the next one. :9 The good news is that a bunch of info already leaked. :D I can't wait. The ending was a huge cliffhanger, so they better make 5, or I'll personally go punch the CEOs of Sanzaru in the face for leaving my favorite series of my childhood hanging like that. They need to at least finish the Sly-Carmelita relationship plot, as well as show more about Sly's dad...

I could rant more for several hours, if not days, about Sly, but I'll leave for now. ;9

@Napo: ah, that's where you've been!
Glad you enjoyed it.

@Mac: common sense does not run well in politics ... or community events, so it seems.

@mC: Anywhere really. Mark Twain said it best. Especially when he became more a pessimist.

Awesome haul at the flea market today! I got two medals w/ ribbons. One's an East German gold-plated one for 20 years of service to the Volksarmee and the other's a silver-plated East German one which I haven't quite ID'd yet. I also got an old Luger! :D No, not a real one, but some 1950/60s-era replica. :9 Dang, it looks real: solid metal (with a nice patina) and all the fixings. The guy who gets things out of cabinets at the market almost had a heart attack, took it aside, and made sure it wasn't real, lol.
