That looks pretty cool.

Oh, boy, here go the media with their stupid "it's video games' fault!"

"Kids shouldn't be able to get their hands on M-17 gamez!"

Me: The shooter was 20. Your point is invalid. One military psychologist guy really PO'd me, when he pleaded on TV for parents to "take away M rated games, because your kids will become killers from them."

...

Lord have Mercy upon my brain trying to compute that statement. That's utter ignorance. Ooh, I can't stand people like that. A guy on one of the morning shows said, "Lanza was apparently obsessed with a game called Dynasty Warriors, that trained him to kill kids."

Oh, God why? I myself had no idea what Dynasty Warriors was until today, and it appears to be some goofy Japanese strategy anime game with terrible graphics. |D

@QBlade: I totally agree regarding our society and how they deal with tragic events.
Also, cool on the fireplace.

@Baylego: HI!!
the Lone Ranger Legos ... actually look pretty decent. I might grab a few.

@S133: I care!!
My sources have told me that it's a futuristic set; Knights protecting the last of humanity type thing. With Bungie, it'll be awesome :o)

Video games: They can be good for you.
It's been proven time and time again that they increase motor skills, help eyesight, relieve pain, and help you make faster decisions.
Oh, your child got a hold of an M rated game? Guess what, that's on you and your child, not the video game company.

Yeah, but it says going over 21 hours in a week begins on the negative effects. I probably put that much time in on Skyirm last week alone. I feel like it also mentions a lot about the therapy games, which is nice and all, but feel like there 's a disconnect.

True, but I'm tired of people only reaming about the negatives.
I had another graph somewhere about video games.. let me see if I can find it.

Oh, here we go

They do the same thing for everything, mate. Big engines, sharp cars, video games, teenagers, guns, what-have-you. It's what they do.

edit:@CB's graph: Why'd they pick an SKS?

edit: Never mind I already know.

I have no clue, I didn't make the graph :9

Speaking of big engines. I found this a while ago. A 1005 cubic inch engine that puts out 2150hp and 1550tq. naturally aspirated.
Massive. Imagine if you put twin turbos on there.

Would that even make it better? You'd think that there would be a point where the vacuum created by the cylinders would be taking in more air than super/turbochargers could cram in. What is that engine even for?

Possibly, I'm not entirely sure. I bet if you had two boat sized turbos it would work :9 It's for drag racing.

I still haven't had the time to install Star Wars The Old Republic yet. I have heard that the free to play is very limited, which has put a hole in my desire to play it right now. I will eventually get it working, but just not as thrilled as I once was. In other news, if any of you have heard of the Wing Commander games that came out in the 90's, there is a new game coming out that I hear is an MMO. I know very little about it right now, but that is something I am definitely interested in. Wing Commander 3 is what really made me want to get a PC and the thought of me piloting a starfighter once again just sends shivers down my spine.
