Well, considering that we are wearing official Harry Potter Hogwarts uniforms, I guess we would look a bit British....

Also our kittens have been playing merry havoc in the house this morning, causing mischief and breaking stuff.... Normally they aren't this rowdy, so I wonder what's gotten into them.

@Omi: great to see you, and glad life is giving you smiles!

@QBlade: kudos to your wife, and your great attitude towards her :o)
Also, sweet on the building, can't wait to see it.

@Hikaro: great pic!!

@Napo: nothing beats where I live. I live literally in an old bordertown - that has a tiny 'village-ship', when counting the neighboring area gathers up 250. We have no store, no fuel stations, 6 'secondhand pedlars', and a bunch of cows & surrounding wildlife ... google-earth Gooselake, Oregon/California.

So ... I found another tech-gizmo I actually think I want (shakes head); seriously might want. My 'real' camera is dying and I need to replace it. But, "me 'ol eyes ain't what the' use' to be"; therefore I have found the new to be released ipad-mini as an attractive option. It's small-ish, but big enough that I could actually "see" the screen. The apple camera apps are amazing ... I think I'm running out of pennies to slice up though ... so, I'll sit and ponder the idea, while I wait to decide.

@Hikaro: If the kittens start having their heads rotate or start sending things flying across the room, you'll know what has gotten into them. They never should have used that Ouija Board! ;9

Ahhh, all done with working for today :)

@Omicron: Hey Omi, glad to see ya' back here, and that things are going well.

@Hikaro: Those are some legit costumes!

@towns: I live in Crested Butte, CO, a tourist town in the middle of nowhere. It's really pretty though, and the near complete lack of national franchises is nice, the only non-small businesses in town are the hotels and the radioshack. About 15,000 people live in our whole county.

I Like Small buttes and I cannot lie!

;9

My city now has probably 10,000 people in it, with 300,000 just a few miles away. I like it quite a bit. My city is hardly pretty though. The courthouse is nice though, and the Civil War Memorial, and the indigo-colored "lake" at the park.

The pain, IT BURNS, IT BURNS! AGHHHH :9

We don't have a courthouse or memorial, but, ya know, we have 3 or 4 dispensaries.

Mtn. Home had 11,000 people, Boise has a little over 800,000 though, whole state has 1.5 million people. Boise's a pretty nice city though, very open-air.

Cincinnati, Ohio. Not really a great city, but it's got a ton of places that sell LEGO and is only an hour or so away from Brickforge home base.

Yup, that's why my internet is "marginable", painfully so; but, at least we have some ... when it works :o)

@SMarine: that pic is hilarious!!

BF Galaxies: posted both of my main challenge 3 items!!
Just in time :o)

Last night, I almost hit a deer on the way home. Was pretty nerve racking. My nerves were already shot because about an hour before that, one of the pressmen lost 3 of his fingers in the machine. I felt horrible when I heard about it. I'm glad I didn't hear when it happened. I must have seen the guy just minutes before.

On a better note, my current MOC is starting to look really good. I'm getting excited about it, but the verdict is still out on how happy I'll be overall when it is finished. Lots of work to do.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that this build required me to take apart my old Dwarven mine that was over run by the orcs/trolls.
