@MC on jobs, last page: Well, my current plan is to become a university teacher in something along the lines of linguistics, English or history. But I'm far from sure, this line just seems like the most interesting choice at the moment.

That's cool. I have a friend who was a linguistics major. Her life plans got turned around after she married, but she's happy and still uses her knowledge for local things.

@SMarine: I could only get one pic to come up, but the bug looks cool!
These could be the beginnings of many great things, indeed.

If you just google Galaxy Squad, more pics are available. I love it. It seems to be heavily based off the Space Marines them on Eurobricks and Cuusoo. :D

Well, looks like Wells Fargo is trying their old tricks again: Some kind of form that they must sign is the only thing that could prevent me from settling on my house this Wednesday, and they don't seem to be in any hurry at all to sign it... So I told my realtor to tell them that they could have it ready in time for me to settle or they could get served:

That seemed to properly motivate the seller's agent at least...

In other news, I've got my ADU gunship done and am quite pleased with it... Now I just need to see if I can source the parts in red and white for a Federal Republic of America Air Force version.

Napoleon: I've heard rumors that some of the Galaxy Squad sets have already shown up at Toys R Us stores... I'll have to check that rumor out tomorrow.... Also, I love your poster. :9

Sorry to hear about the continued bank/house issues. Perhaps the "s" word will motivate them though. As for these rumors, I was in TRU earlier today and I saw nothing of these sets. You're TRU experience may be different but I just thought I would give you a heads up.

I did, however, see a bunch of Alien Conquest stuff still on the shelf. I am debating if I should use the 20% off coupon from the newspaper or wait until Black Friday. Or if I should just accept that I don't have the room for the Alien Conquest Earth Defense HQ.

Get the Earth Defense HQ, and the Jet Copter Encounter, if they have it.... Both sets are totally worth it!

As for the possibility of this particular TRU having early release of the Galaxy Squad (or other 2013 sets), I'd say that the probability is somewhat better than average: They had Garmadon's Dark Fortress and a couple other Ninjago sets around this time in 2010 at that particular store....

They had the Jet Copter Encounter, Earth Defense HQ, Alien Mothership, and I think one other set at this TRU. The HQ may happen, despite my lack of space for it, as I very much like the figs and the Vic Viper (and the tribute on said VV). However the rest of the line didn't, and doesn't really interest me. The main colors are a bit obnoxious to me and I don't have much use for vehicles of those nature. But it is my birthday this Wednesday, followed by Black Friday and Cyber Monday so only time will tell.

As for your TRU... Good luck. Perhaps the Fates shall grant me a birthday wish and things will pop up in TRU around here early for once.

@Hikaro: agreed, sorry for the lame house issues ... makes you wonder if they really want your money, know what I mean.

Lego: LoTR vid game. I haven't gotten real far, because I'm actually having fun running around Hobbiton ... on sheep back. Yup, Frodo and Sam are taking turns collecting every coin possible while galloping on the back of a sheep. LOL.
Also, Hobbiton is gorgeous, and i love the new flowers I see. I really hope they have them in the sets ... a bell shaped flower in red or blue. Great ideas for mine Hobbit diorama I'm dreaming up.

@Machetero: early happy b-day, and I hope you can find some of the things you're looking for :o)

I personally dislike 'black friday' ... all those pushy and rude people, not my cup of jo for sure.
