But you can get KC and the Sunshine Band for 5 BUCKS. They're like Gods of Music. :9

When I'm driving, yes, yes, they do operate on the rules of movies. ;9

I did some more painting today and the sun finally caught up with me. First time I got sunburn in about 3 years. I'm happy with the response that the BrickForge Galaxies has gotten. Glad we have a whole month for challenges, because I've been so busy. Last night I was at work until 5 AM, but the last 1/2 hr I was on the fork truck, so extra $ my way :).

I got my nose sunburned really badly a while back; red for days. It looked like acne from a distance, which made it worse. I haven't gotten any mentionable acne in years.

This quiz was fun: http://www.sporcle.com/games/jonesjeffum/europenarms I got 35 out of 47 correct; not bad for its subject.

So ... for those who like crazy - fun games, you need to check out Munchkin.
It's a spoof on D&D style games ... and is hilarious.

I think my main character and my companion for Galaxies are complete, aside from a few pieces in the BF order I just made. Now to work on the back story, planet info, and what have you. Also known as the ridiculously hard part. My writing is a bit rusty and just not good in general so I apologize in advance to any who attempt to read it whenever I finish and post.

@Sent: Congrats! I still haven't driven. I can walk to where I need if I need it bad enough, and cars scare me. It's actually a trend; I read ton of people our age aren't driving or haven't even learned because they're scared about getting into what is essentially a 70 mile-per-hour, highly-explosive, deadly machine of deadly death. :9

It's not that bad actually.

There are alternatives online, but I don't trust most of them. Torrents are very risky business, and Demonoid had amazing security and quality.

The Pirate Bay?

Good to know I'm not the only one.

@Mac: I just went 234 feet big air on SRIII, bounced once, and went another 43 feet. :D It's one of the bridges leading out of zombietown, and I used an Attrazione car. You should try it if you haven't.

It is, it is.
I ordered some of the extra card sets last night, to extend my card packs since I have the original Munchkin in Deluxe form. I want as many people to play as possible ... so in theory, with the bunch of cards I just ordered I should be able to allow 2-3 more people ... maybe even up to 4. I'll check all the cards out when they get here to be sure, tooo fun!

@Machetero: Sweet, can't wait to see your characters; and I'm sure your writing will be just fine ( yours too S133).
I placed a small (so difficult to choose) BF order also, I need those laser beams and pulse rays!

AH HA! So that was the plan all along, wasn't it? Create a fun, creative game that causes some of us to spend even more of our pennies on BF products. Well played... :oP
As for my characters, I'd have to say that my main character may be the best looking minifig I've ever made, and definitely my favorite. It's something I have thought about doing but never had a real reason due to what I usually build. So if I get no other amusement out of Galaxies (though I don't think that is possible) it would still be worth it.
As for my writing...we'll see. It is currently slow going as I have it saved as a Google Doc but I can't access Google Docs at work except on my phone, and that just isn't going to work.
