Boarderlands 2 is coming out soon. I don't think I'll get it right away like I did with 1. I'm more excited for Halo 4. If you haven't read the Game Informer article on it find it and do so now.

My GI issue came the other day. I skimmed the HALO article because it's not on PS3. :(

I read that yesterday. It'll be interesting to see how they work some of those things out ... hoping it'll be a good game.

I'm sad now. I speced my Geth's turret a different way than I did before, and I don't like it. But now I have to level it up to level 20 and then reset to level 1 to even start getting it back the way I want it, and now I don't really even want to play the class cause it works completely differently now. The ironic part is it will probably be how I spec my Geth playing on the PC where I'm not as used to the controls and will be relegating myself to a more supportive role, but it's very boring with the controller I'm used to. :\
I'm excited for the Spartan-IVs in Halo 4. Also, the idea of the story focusing more on the interactions between Chief and Cortana is super exciting, cause personally I think their dialog is the most enjoyable part of the campaign. Only time John ever seemed to be an actual person and not the faceless soldier he was meant to be.

The S-IVs intrigue me, along with multiplayer supposedly having more of a story. As for John being more human, I hope they keep his character from the books.

Last Christmas, I got Civilization V. Only to find out that our pretty bugged desktop coudln't register the disc. Now, after months with my new laptop, one of my friends finally convinced me to get started on it. It's one of the most awesome games ever. I haven't even fully grasped it yet, but I already feel quite addicted to the countless possibilities it involves. Suddenly, I understand why Hikaro loves III so much. Do we, by any chance, have other Civ. players around here?

I play Civ Revolution on PS3. Fun game. I don't play non-Total War comp games though.

While on the topic of games, found this interesting graph.

Now this begs question.
"Although most people assume that the top selling games are violent shooters, the top selling game genres were actually action games at 22.3%"
...So what do shooters fall under? If we're speaking as broadly as action, sports games, and family entertainment games, wouldn't shooters fall under action?
